Land & site planning
Cleared and levelled under a registered four-year lease, laid out for production beds, water infrastructure and staff areas.
A borehole drilled to 104 feet feeds a storage pond and sprinkler network reaching all 124 nursery beds.
Renewable power
Solar power runs the water pumps and irrigation, reducing the nursery's reliance on the grid.
Production facilities
Two shade structures on concrete supports, plus an operations room for supervision and record-keeping.
Quality checks run through every stage — siteworks, tube filling, germination and bed management — before a sapling is cleared for planting.
The nursery is guided by forestry practitioners, working through species selection, nursery management and plantation preparation at every stage.

Local workers carry the nursery day to day — land preparation, seed sowing, sapling maintenance, irrigation management — and are building restoration skills they'll carry into the plantation years ahead.
